WHERE TO GO TO IN MINSK?

Coming to a city previously unvisited one wishes to see all places of interest, take walks in picturesque streets, go shopping in good stores. In Minsk the shopping, recreating and good cuisine locations are not far apart from each other and the apartments we are offering.

Where to take walks?

Nezavisimosti Avenue – is the central street of Minsk, an example of Soviet architecture and the Stalin Empire style. It takes about an hour to walk its central stretch with a length of approximately 4 km. In the immediate vicinity of the avenue you will find stores, architectural monuments, and parks:

  • The Lenin Square hosts the House of Government, a The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Sts. Simon and Helen (The Red Church) and a large underground shopping center Stolitsa.
  • The GUM (the Main department store), the TsUM (the Central department store).
  • Gorky Park and the Tschluskintsev Park. You can take walks along the beautiful river bank and make a boating trip in the Gorky Park. Next to the Tschluskintsev Park is the Botanical Garden.
  • The National Library is an excellent place to take pictures. A glass elevator will take you to an observation platform on top of the building.

Troitskoe Predmestie – is the historical center of the city, located at the bank of the river Svisloch. In the neighborhood are the State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Cathedral Church.
